Mark Wessels (Marco) started juggling and riding unicycles ten years ago as a street performer in Boston. While obtaining his degree in Neuroscience at Oberlin College, he cofounded OCircus! a student run group creating free community circuses. Since moving to San Francisco, Mark has been training in Chinese acrobatics and clowning at the San Francisco Circus Center where he completed the Advanced Program of the Clown Conservatory. Mark presents his unique acts at variety shows and private events around the San Francisco Bay Area, and in the ring with Circus Bella, Zoppe Family Circus, and the New Pickle Circus. Marya Brennan (Moxy) became interested in circus at Oberlin College, where she performed in several hula-hooping and club passing acts as a part of OCircus! Since then, she has performed at several venues around San Francisco (mainly on the toy piano), but spends most of her time teaching English to middle schoolers (which means she's an expert at dealing with tough crowds). |
